Brno University of Technology

Brno University of Technology is the largest engineering university in the Czech Republic. BUT has 8 faculties, five of its own research centres and is engaged in two centres of excellence. More than 20 thousands students study at BUT in programmes focused on technology, natural sciences, architecture, economics and fine arts.

Masaryk University

Established in 1919, Masaryk University with around 30,000 students and approximately 1,300 fields of study, is currently the second largest Czech university. It has nine faculties with more than 200 departments and clinics, encompassing academic disciplines from natural sciences to humanities.

Mendel University in Brno

Mendel University offers more than 100 different graduate degree programmes in Czech and in English languages. University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno

The University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno was founded in 1918. The university consists of three faculties - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology, and Faculty of Pharmacy. The VFU Brno is the only university in the Czech Republic specializing in veterinary medicine, veterinary hygiene and ecology.

The Janáček Academy of Performing Arts

The Janáček Academy of Performing Arts is one of two academies of music and the dramatic arts in the Czech Republic. JAMU has more than 500 students at its two faculties: Faculty of Theatre Arts and the Faculty of Music.
