In #brnoregion I started studying at the Brno University of Technology in 2002 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication. I finished my Bachelor's thesis in Biomedicine (3D Ultrasound) and my Engineering degree in Communication Engineering (Voice Recognition). I was very active during my studies in the Brno-based student organization Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) and also traveled abroad several times. When I obtained engineering degree, I accepted an offer for a work placement in Japan with ALPS, a company dealing with bluetooth modules. After returning to Brno I started working at Honeywell and since then I have been "making airplanes". During my working career at Honeywell I also extended my education with a second engineering degree in Project Management at the Faculty of Business at BUT.

What did Brno give you?

Apart from a great education, Brno offered me a great professional self-realization in the field of aviation. I started my working career in aerospace in 2008 as a complete novice with simple tasks. Today, together with my Brno colleagues, we work on large projects for small and large aircraft, from complex mechanical, hardware and software design to certification of the entire cockpit of the aircraft with the FAA and EASA.

Besides, Brno is great also after work, there are many great places to visit, there are plenty of concerts, festivals, theatre performances and events for families with children!

3 things you love about Brno?

Brno is unique for its combination of a big city and the surrounding nature. Both are close and easily accessible. And not to forget the huge cultural offer, not to mention the good food and drinks.
