The Brno Region confirms its position as the Czech innovation leader
The Brno Region continues to strengthen its role as the innovation hub of the Czech Republic, with high levels of investment in research and development (R&D). According to the latest Data Report published by innovation agency JIC, total R&D investment reached nearly CZK 23.7 billion in 2023, an increase of 1.5% compared to 2022. With expenditure representing almost 3% of the region’s GDP, South Moravia remains the national leader and compares with advanced European regions.
